These are my unit three projects with my reflections below.

Coil pot

I tried to make my coil pot by making loops and putting them together, I wanted it to be larger but my small base could not support it and it broke, in the future I would like to make it larger, I would consider this project a fail however, I understand coil pots better now.

Choice project

This was my choice project. I wanted to make a large plate, I did this over a slump mold and I was very happy with how it turned out, I learned how to make larger bowls and how thick to make them, something I found difficult was transplanting clay onto the bowl because I didn’t have enough, I would consider this project successful and I will make more in the future

scrafito

for this scrafitto I used a salad with blue glaze on top of it with a needle tool, something that was difficult was not having the clay clump at I scratch it, in the future I would use a larger slap and more glaze so the end result looks more complete

slab slump mold

I did this project after my choice project with the experience I gained, this was a fun project and I learned a lot about how to make a foot on a bowl, this bowl turned out well and it has been glazed and completed since this picture, this was one of my favorite projects of this unit I enjoy slump molds.

slab structure darts

this was my slab dart structure. This was a difficult project, I struggle with making the triangle cuts even and connecting them, it took me several tries but I was happy with the result. I will make this into a mug, this project was a success

relief carving

This was my relief carving for my unit 3 projects. This was an easy project for me, I was inspired by sea creature and decided to make a fish, I learned a lot about making texture by making small holes in the clay. I was challenged by making the teeth so small but I’m happy with how it turned out, this was a success
